the pursuit of Total Honesty is not just about saying anything that comes into
your head. in fact, sometimes it is about _not_ saying things you want to say if
they are raw, unprocessed or coming from new and current emotions. hopefully
that gets easier.
week 25; 2022
we near the halfway point of the year

- learn spanish
- plan for mexico
- i went out on monday and sat on a bench and ate some snacks and looked at a fox and did my spanish lesson
- on tuesday i made a packed lunch at lunch time and went and sat on a bench in the middle of some grass and did my spanish lesson
- spent wednesday reading the apple developer documentation to make an app but it turns out you can't actually use the iCloud APIs even in development without paying them £79 which i absolutely cannot afford, was excited for a bit.
- thursday was another day
- friday. well, look. america is over now.
- saturday and sunday i just spent chatting with jime and getting ready to prepare to pack for mexico. oh i also watched some of the RMT demo on-line and it was really good

- Pour fuel into a glass bottle until it's about three quarters full
- Insert cloth far enough to dip into the fuel, that's your wick
- Let about finger's worth of wick protrude from the bottle
- Make sure the seal is tight by stuffing in more cloth
- Tape neck to hold cloth in place
- Briefly upturn the bottle so that the cloth is wet with fuel, and then turn it back upright
- Light and throw

The default application created when you start a New Multiplatform App project with Xcode is one the all time greatest pieces of art.
When you first run it, you see this:

I can have as many items as I like.
During setup I selected Core Data and CloudKit, so my items are synced across all my devices and are available wherever I need them.
This is the perfect application. Any time I have an idea, or see an article I'd like to read later, I will create an item representing it in my Application.
